Solace Studios

Solace Studios is one person, not a studio in the traditional sense — the name is aspirational. Repose started as a personal project: an ambient sound app good enough to actually use every night, without the loop clicks, ad interruptions, or bloated feature lists that made existing options hard to stick with.

Building it meant learning React Native and Swift from scratch, mostly by working through the problems Repose itself surfaced — gapless audio looping, lock-screen integration, and handling interruptions like phone calls and alarms cleanly turned out to be harder than expected, and each one became its own small research project.

The goal isn't to compete with big meditation-app platforms. It's a focused tool that does one thing — ambient sound for sleep and rest — carefully, and gets out of your way.
